The race to unseat the current Vihiga woman representative has geared up. The incumbent has been in the past accused of many wrong doings and the electorates were not comfortable with her reelection. Hon. Beatrice Adagala has disappeared from the limelight since being elected in 2017 according to the residents. They claim that most oftenly she’s seen on mainstream media doing showbiz activities that have no value for vihiga county residents.

With the likes of Ms. Violet Bagada, former KNUT official, Jackline Mwenesi and Ruth Bukachi: the incumbent could have cruised through easily for her second term. Ms. Bagada lacks charisma and is viewed as only good behind the microphone but too weak to lay serious foundation that can bring substantial empowerment to the residents of Vihiga County.
