The entourage of Kenya Kwanza Alliance in Vihiga County on Sunday 6th February, created mixed reactions among the residents. Most residents interviewed played down the tour terming it inconsequential. Majority of those interviewed said the region has already decided to support Azimio Candidate after Mudavadi joined the UDA bandwagon. “We cannot be auctioned for selfish interests by few individuals,” Mr. Shadrack Esikuri an MCA aspirant said yesterday. “But atleast people our region have seen ANC party leader for the first time since he joined politics. Thanks to the deputy president for helping Musalia move around the county. That day Musalia managed to go to Luanda, Mwichio and Serem something we can appreciate the DP for.” He emphasized.

From vihiga County, the Kenya Kwanza alliance toured Busia county on Monday then on Tuesday they pitched Camp in Kakamega county. They are expected to conclude the Western tour atleast for now in Bungoma County. The Deputy President is seeking to add new allies who opposed the Uhuruto government in 2017.
