The Uasin Gishu Senator Prof. Margret Kamar is on the receiving end from her back yard for supporting the ouster of senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen. The independent minded Professor attended the statehouse PG meeting that spearheaded the removal of senator Murkomen and Susan Kihika as the Majority leader and chief whip respectively.
President Uhuru Kenyatta who has been silent for sometime resurfaced with a bang that saw the clean-up process commence in a process termed “jubilee fumigation”. The other probable casualty is the senate Deputy Speaker Kithure Kindiki before the whip lands in the National assembly. The process has led to a serious debate and more differences in the ruling party.
Kalenjin Nation on the wing of jubilee has come out strongly to condemn Prof. Kamar for what they term as betrayal. The social media platforms, radio stations and verbal utterances have seen the mainly North rift Ruto allies abusing the Professor for going to bed with enemy.
Kapseret Mp Oscar Sudi on his twitter handle expressed his anger the Uasin Gishu Senator and promised to teach her a lesson. “Am reliably informed that Uasin Gishu County Senator Prof. Margaret Kamar signed the attendance list in the State House meeting. We will teach her a lesson in 2022”, he said. “I have never seen a cheap President like Uhuru, how can a whole President fight small people like Susan Kihika and Kipchumba Murkomen. I regret voting and campaigning for him big time”, he twitted.
