Education Cabinet Secretary said that, such students should operate from home. According to him, such students should be in schools closer to their homes. He insisted that such learners shouldn’t intimidate teachers instead be with their parents at home and only be in schools during the day.

Some Netizens said that it’s against the constitution, discriminatory and inhuman leveled on the gay children by the Cabinet secretary. Children or people should not be discriminated based on their sexual orientation. According to the proponents, they claim lesbianism and gayism is allowed in Kenya.
