Residents of Vihiga constituency are questioning a move by the Member of Parliament Vihiga Constituency Mr. Ernest Kagesi with his CDF team to give free scholarships to students joining three schools Mudavadi, Madira, and Vihiga High School.

According to our sources, the entire CDF class of Mudavadi Girls which the CDF claims to sponsor have been sent home due to fees arrears. The issue has left both parents and the students in a state of confusion with some parents thinking of taking other steps including transferring their students today schools.
“The MP said that he will sponsor our students fully, am wondering why he is not abiding by his promise,” said one of the parents.
A reliable source has also revealed that Vihiga High School students sponsored by CDF might also follow the same route due to fees.
Residents are now calling upon the CDF team to respond to the allegations and resolve the issue of Mudavadi girls as soon as possible.
