The purge that started in the senate has set foot in the National assembly with several casualties facing the axe. The notable character is Gatundu south Mp Moses Kuria and his kikuyu counterpart Kimani Ichungwah. Both had initially stated their impending removal from house leadership committees. Kimani Ichungwah is the chairman of the budget and appropriation committee.
