Though viewed as the front runner, Ndivisi MCA Hon. Martin Pepela Wanyonyi “investor” has refused to debate about Alfred Sambu succession for parliamentary seat in Webuye east. He said that, time is not ripe to debate about 2022 when residents are eager to see development agenda.
While being interviewed on a certain local FM station he said, “As an elected leader in Ndivisi ward my focus now is to continue developing my ward through coordination with the county executive. My priority now is to see the set aside programs on road maintenance, health faculties, education and many others being undertaken are implemented”.
Our sources indicate that, the veterans who didn’t succeed in the last general elections are jostling for the coveted seat when Alfred Sambu reaches political sunset. Those who have lined up are; Dr. peter Khakina who vied on ODM, Mr. Butiya Lusamoywa of Fk, Alfred Sambu’s kin Mr. Masoni.
Dr. Wanjala Iyaya who vied jubilee and now a government employee has gone into hiding as he has usually done in the past. But sources indicate he will resurface some few months to 2022 elections.
Noted new comer is Mr. Noah Chiuli who has not publicly declared interest, but his harambee contributions across the constituency every weekend through his proxies speaks it all.
