The program of training examiners kicked off countrywide on Monday 8th April 2019 in several stations across the country. Teachers reported on Sunday at various venues in readiness for the exercise. Limuru Girls high school was among the centers.
It was a bizarre moments at Limuru girls when the administration of the school tried to block the breastfeeding mothers from accessing the compound. The female teachers with young ones were gotten by surprise after being told they cannot breastfeed within the compound. The social media lashed at the school head with most of the people stating that the act was primitive and unacceptable because it infringes with the rights of both the mothers and their babies.
The pressure was mounted until the ministry intervened to correct the situation. Teachers will be there up to Saturday 13th April to complete the exercise.
