This short-range Hydrion pH Paper provides excellent color separation in the acid range and offers clear bright single color matches at every .5 interval from pH 3.0-5.5. As a safety precaution, an unknown solution should be measured for its pH value. If it is found to be too acidic, the solution may be dangerous to handle, or may have special disposal requirements.
The color chart has pH matches at [3.0][3.5][4.0][4.5][5.0][5.5]

Note: these strips will not test water or water based solutions.  You need LI-5900 or 5000 to test any type of water.

1. This is a great range for monitoring vaginal ph. They sell kits for this at drugstores that are basically plastic sticks with ph indicators on the end. Except those cost double and you only get two tests. A cotton swab and this indicator roll is a much more economical.

I used these in an attempt to sway my chances in trying to conceive. While trying to conceive I checked my pH level to make sure it was high enough. These strips were super easy to use and really good for measuring vaginal pH. They were completely affordable and will last forever. Great product

I have been using these to test the PH of EM1 Microbial Solutions. The tight PH range is perfect for this application where the ideal target PH is 3.5. If you are looking to test your saliva or other neutral to alkaline solutions then this particular paper doesn't scale to that range. Otherwise the color change is instant and the results are easy to compare with the color range chart.
