Gibson Art Glass 1984 Bird on 3 Hole Glass Iridescent Purple & Pastel Swirls Paperweight
Very pretty 2.125" tall chickadee bird perched on top of a ~2.5" tall, ~3" diameter paperweight. The base paperweight has 3 holes for pens, pencils or as a bud vase. No chips seen. Looking very closely there are stress cracks under the surface layers of swirled glass here and there, seen under very close scrutiny - not felt or seen at the surface applied glass - not abnormal with layered glass art. I don't see any scuffs and very minimal base wear. The first six pictures taken under simple daylight. The last 6 pictures taken with camera flash - which dramatically artificially enhances colors.
