Brand New Flame Boss 400 WiFi Model!
These began shipping in Sept 2018--the 300 model is discontinued...….however, the 500 was just released!  Check out our other auctions for the Flame Boss 500!
No more control unit or screen, it's all self contained in the fan box!  Less wires, lower cost, but you MUST have an iOs or Android device to control it (you still do NOT necessarily need internet access).  If you're going to be travelling outside of its broadcast range (300ft) and want to be able to monitor/control, then you will need a router with internet access in its vicinity.  Also, the Flame Boss can now be controlled through an Amazon Echo / Alexa & Google Assistant!
This unit accepts/reads ONE meat probe at a time.....if you need to monitor more than one meat, check out the Flame Boss 500!
Just like the 200 & 300 before it, it's a Wifi model and put all the data & graph on a website or app for you to see.  It will notify you through alarms or via text message when the MEAT temp is reached, or if the PIT temp falls out of parameters and it is unable to compensate (like running out of charcoal.)  You can set it to automatically ramp down the pit temp (to keep warm), once the meat reaches its target temp.  It has lid-open detection where it will halt the fan until it detects the lid being closed.  It will also automatically search and download new firmware anytime it is connected to internet access.
