Antique DELFT/French Blue with Colors Covered Box of Young LADY

Offered here today is a small, very delicate covered box in the form of a young Lady. She stands only 3 1/4" tall, but is painted with much detail and quality of work. I found this in Amsterdam about 40 years ago in an antique shop. I believe it is Dutch from the 18th or possibly 19th Century...it is a true antique. All things considered, it could also be of French origin...it is most certainly antique and of high quality! The young Lady is wearing a bright yellow cap and has a green bow in her hair and another on the front of her dress. She has very delicate RED lips and beautiful eyes. There are a few minor glaze loses: notice her left hand and a tiny blemish on her nose, but, for her age, she is remarkable! NO chips, cracks or damages. There seem to be marks on the inside of the cover piece as pictured, but I have never been able to identify. She is light-weight and will ship PRIORITY for .
