The proud Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi famously known as “Grandmullar” is dieheard supporter of the Deputy President Dr. William Ruto. Currently the Mr. Nassir is the Dp’s personal Lawyer. He has defended him on several matters like presidential Supreme Court case in 2017, Weston Hotel ownership and other corruption cases.
In Kenya campaign period always commence immediately after elections. Dr. William Ruto jump started his campaign long time ago traversing across the nation for 2022 statehouse lobby. Several groups were formed courtesy of him like inua mama and tangatanga brigade. The main beneficiaries of the Ruto campaign are churches who have reaped millions so far from the Deputy President’s “generosity”.

Two years to general elections and already realignments are evident. For how long will this happen? The President has vehemently opposed to the early campaigns by his Deputy. Jubilee party now is dead lion being eaten by maggots. It’s almost sure President Uhuru Kenyatta won’t support his Deputy in 2022. This has brought open jitters in the ruling party.
The onslaught on the tangatanga side in the house leadership is yet to cease basing on the new senate chief Whip statement Irungu Kang’ata. He stated that the whip will fall in the National Assembly on June 2nd 2020. It’s believed the National Assembly Chief whip Mp Benjamin Washiali will be the main causality.

Speaking on the Citizen TV on Wednesday last week the Mr. Nassir said in 2022 President Uhuru Kenyatta will have no role at all in the election. He also emphasized on the non-existence of the currently referred to as deep state. “The election will be based on who gets most votes” he said. He dismissed the candidature of Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula. “The race will be mainly for two individuals; Raila Odinga and William Ruto”, the lawyer stated. He went on to hint that whoever will win Mt. Kenya voting block will become the President. According to him his ally Dr. William Ruto has an upper hand to take it home.
The Lawyer hit at the opposition leader for consistently breaking the parties. He lashed at Raila for joining the government through back door. “Kenyan politics has no ethics, no virtuous, no respect, no manners, no honour,no obeisance, no reverence…those who tried every trick in the book very many times & failed miserably to take power are today lecturing those who beat them like drums in the polls how to run their party”, he twitted on his twitter handle.
On support of Kindiki the Lawyer had this to say: “Many kenyans appreciate the removal of Sen Murkomen as majority leader in senate. He was seen by some as vocal & vociferous in his opposition to govt. but how can one justify the cold bloodied political murder of prof Kindiki?…wasn’t he the quintessential loyalist? The proud Meru people were today humiliated and shamed when their son for no apparent reason was murdered on the floor of the senate. This political malice a fore thought must be politically avenged”.
Politics is very dynamic and opinions today might not be same tomorrow. Goalposts are shifted oftenly depending on the interests. Real politics will be in 2022 when we advance to election times. Realignments will be based on the choice of running mate. Will Kenyans still vote on tribal lines?
